welcome to the debating section..thou i don't believe in debates(who is right)...i would term it a discussion (what is right) if you want i can directly start posting questions regarding Christianity in this section of forum, but only if you are willing to answer them it wouldn't be attack but it would be some tough queries to answer

i suppose we would need few more Christians here to answer basic questions about Christianity which often pops up in our minds..
One or two questions at a time wouldn't take too long to answer. But it would be beneficial to have more than one Christian on the forum if the questions are honest and not simply rhetorical.
Just to state my motive clearly; I just wanted to be open and honest about what I believe and leave the door open for questions. I do not want to debate but I am willing to answer any questions asked to the best of my ability. I am here to learn. Thank you.

Great questions. I’ll answer both here. The Bible teaches that we are, in our natural state, at enmity against God. “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Roman 8 Enmity means that we naturally hate God. Some will say they love God but only love what they believe is God and ultimately reject the God that exists. This is called idolatry. To place a false god in place of the true and living God. You cannot worship the true and living God unless you know Him and to know Him, the Bible teaches, that we must move from a state of rebellion against God by the act of spiritual regeneration. Jesus also stated, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” John 3 Unless you are born again, which is a reference to spiritual regeneration, you cannot even see the Gospel Kingdom of God. God has chosen to use finite man to accomplish His will and purpose and His will and purpose is to have the Gospel preached to the ends of the world. The act of conversion is not something mankind can perform but God only. Christians believe it is man’s role to preach the word of God believing God will accomplish His will and purpose through the ministry. Just as a paint brush is employed in the hand of an artist to paint a masterpeice so mankind is employed in the hand of God. Heaven is for those who worship God. As I stated above you must know the true and living God and worship Him the way He prescribes in scripture which is a revelation of His purpose to mankind. We can only approach God through Jesus Christ alone who is God Incarnate, the true and living God. To place another God before Him or to approach God in a manner not prescribed is considered idolatry for we are choosing our own preferences over those of the God of the Universe. So let's get this straight. A man commits heinous crimes like torture, mass murder, and rape of children, but he accepts Christ into his heart ... he gets to go to heaven? But another man who is kindly, never hurts anyone, is helpful, but has this one thing against him ... he doesn't believe in Christ ... that man goes to hell? Is this what you believe? Do you believe that your physical body will re-form in heaven to be with loved ones, all in the company of Jesus?
don't mind but these are just not satisfactory answers for me but i since i m hindu we accept that... Now my simplest question is CAN CHRISTIANITY SURVIVE WITHOUT JESUS ? You are allowed to ask me similar question as well
I'm beginning to become suspicious here. Please start asking us a few questions to end that suspicion. My suspicions are that you really just want to tell us all about Christianity through answering our questions. But please lets not turn this into a one way street. Ask away.
I don’t know about accepting “Christ into the heart…” stuff. That tends to be a teaching found in Fundamentalism and easy believe Evangelicalism. I will say this, God owes us nothing. Nothing at all. In fact, as I explained above, man in his natural state hates God. All people are guilty of hating God or creating a weak, subjective substitute for the real thing. We are all missing the mark in terms of what the true and living God requires of us. That includes murders as well as the lady who takes a pen from her bank. Christians call this sin and sin is universal. Jesus answered them who question Him, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.” We have many ideas about what a person has to do to get to heaven. Some believe we must follow the “Golden Rule,” and do good deeds which will eventually outweigh the bad we have done, tipping the scales in our favour….after all, we are all basically good people…right? We can test the idea of sin being universal if we consider the Law found in the Bible. The Bible repeatedly states that God has given mankind a holy, universal Law, that is written on our hearts and our conscience bears witness to this Law. This Law is revealed and summarized in the Ten Commandments. When we look at God’s Law, we must understand that we have all sinned in some way or another; remember, you don’t have to break all Ten to be guilty of breaking the Law. The Bible warns, “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.” “… it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” Hebrews 9:27 Let’s look at a few of the Commandments and see how we fare: “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.” Have you ever taken God’s name in vain? If you have, you are a blasphemer and can not enter the Kingdom of God. “Honour your father and mother.” Have you always honoured your parents in a respectful manner? In a way that God would consider honouring? “You shall not steal.” Have you ever taken something that didn’t belong to you (irrespective of its value)? What do you call someone who takes something that doesn’t belong to them? A thief – You cannot enter God’s Kingdom. “You shall not bear false witness.” Have you ever told a lie? Just one? What do you call someone who told a lie? A liar. The Bible warns that all liars will have their part in the Lake of Fire. You and I are guilty of sinning against God by breaking His Law, and because we have a conscience, we have sinned “with knowledge.” Isn’t it true that when you steal, lie, etc. you know that it’s wrong? Does the fact that you have sinned against God bother you? The punishment for breaking God’s Law is Hell. Eternal Death. At this point people must be asking, “how is it that a person please God?” There is good news, there is a GOSPEL. God the Father has given us a mediator in Jesus Christ who is the incarnation of God. Jesus took upon Himself man’s nature, becoming subject to the Law of God, and perfectly obeying the Law in thought and deed for His entire lifetime on earth. While on earth Christ took the sins of His people upon Himself, and suffering the punishment due to all their sins paid the penalty by dying on the Cross, “…for the wages of sin is death.” By dying in place of His people Jesus Christ became the mediator between God and man and revived in His people the righteousness, holiness and true knowledge lost as a consequence of sin. As you can see not one of us is without sin and guilt. No one, not one…is owed anything by God. It's a difference in worldview. I'm not sure I understand the question. I can understand that you may not find my answers satisfactory but if they are true to me, according to Indian Hindu philosophy, they are true. You have to accept my answers even if you don't believe they are true. A simple answer, no. Christianity is all about Jesus Christ and him crucified. The Bible reads, "For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." The pinnacle of all human history is Jesus Christ. If anyone feels my motives are suspect please just send me a message and I'll stop saying so and I'll stop responding to the questions posted. Thank you.
Now you're just proselytizing. Do you have any questions for us, or are you just here to proselytize? I'm not at all offended by this because it's part of your faith, and I understand that, but having the gall to come on a Hindu forum to preach your distorted version of reality is why Hindus in general have come to disrespect Christianity and it's adherents. It's really too bad because there are a lot of very decent Christians out there who don't proselytize. In fact, I have one renting a room in my basement. I might change my perception if you actually asked us a few questions like you said you would in the beginning post ... for the purpose of learning about our peaceful and non-proseltysing religion. So I guess that's the challenge. Maybe you already know everything you want to about Hinduism. That's fine too.
