    As said after Newton...the science based on logic and evidence was started...what about the Hindu Nyaya(Logic) and Vaisesikha (Atomism) School...:D Does Science freely takes up these school's philosophies and brand Science own independent creation...or we can say both science and Hindu school are independent creation but 2 Hindu school is often not given credit for their own we can find in science that is has taken many from Greek philosophy(Pythagoras Theorem,etc) but what about it took the Hindu Number system, these are not often credited to Indians..may be texts are not translated..if they are translated then they are misunderstood..and also painting Indians as Unscientific...

    Science is in the Vedas. It may not have been as accurate as some of the stuff is today, but the two sciences of jyotish, and ayurveda have been around a very long time.
