I'm trying to learn more about Hinduism and I'm curious about the concept of yoga. If any of you who practice Hinduism and do yoga, how often do you do yoga? How important is it to you as an individual? I'm not assuming every Hindu partakes in yoga, but I'm just curious about those of you who do. :)

Can I safely assume you mean 'yoga' in the western sense? As in the aspect of yoga called hatha, taught in the west. No. most Hindus don't do this much. ASome do. But the term 'yoga' actually means something entirely different in traditional Hinduism. So by that definition, yes, all Hindus practice it. It includes meditation, sense withdrawal, bhakti (temple or personal worship) and more.

I would say that yoga is part of wellness of physical body of humans and Hinduism always stresses on sound body for sound health concept, but its not a compulsion to do yoga.
No I don't do yoga and majority of Hindus never do .
Rest please come up with pointer questions as it would be easy to answer them :)

    Tnx
