Today, Kolkata Bankshall court convicted Saiful Ali, Ansar Ali, Aminul Ali, Imanul Islam, Aminul Islam and Bola Naskar as being guilty of the gang-rape of our Hindu daughter Shipra Ghosh in Kamduni village in West Bengal’s North 24 Parganas district on 7 June 2013. The 20-year-old Hindu victim, a second year BA student of Derozio College, was walking home along the Kamduni BDO Office Road in the afternoon, when she was abducted and taken inside a factory where she was gang raped by this Muslim-Marxist Gang. After raping her, the perpetrators tore apart her legs up to the navel, slit her throat and dumped her body into a nearby field. Immediately after this savage attack, in June 2013, defying torrential rains and police pressure-tactics, thousands of our brave Hindu Samhati activists had undertaken massive public protest marches in Barasat and Bongaon to put pressure on the administration to arrest and prosecute these barbaric culprits. (Photos below) Our Human Rights Campaign appears to have borne fruit today. It remains to be seen if the rapists are given the death sentence or life imprisonment.
