I have decided to live according to Hindu Dharma. It speaks to my soul and feel at home within its practices and views. However, acquiring materials for puja is very hard. What are some tips of worshiping Divinity if one has no Murti yet? Can I still call myself....Hindu?
    Thanks in advance!

Puja is the path of bhakti yoga, or yoga of love.

You can put Om in english or sanskrit in a paper, and worship it with or without flowers. It is the feeling in the heart that counts and the true material for puja.

This itself is a potent method of worship if done sincerely. Om can be chanted as a mantra.

Alternatively, or side by side, you can also practice present moment awareness or living in the present moment. Present moment awareness , properly practiced, destroys karma, and can bring upon enlightenment.

Nisargadatta Maharaj attained enlightenment through steadfast practice of the 'I Am' state of Awareness. Be aware in whatever you do, and you will start experiencing peace and joy .

As Mata Amritanandamayi stated, " If you constantly practice self-awareness, you will be able to experience peace and happiness."
