19 Feb 2015: Mufti Muhammad Ilyas, the Chief of Jamiat Ulema has given a very controversial statement in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This statement is likely to drive debate and anger of Hindus wherein he has said that " Lord Shiva is the 1st messenger of Muslims.

The Islamic preacher of UHF has said that they accept the first prophet of Lord shiva, and further added by saying that Bhagwan Shiva and Maa Parvati are our parents. This is to be accepted and this truth is right.

On the statement of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (also known as RSS) " India is a Hindu nation and all people living in India are Hindu" he said that they are not against calling India as Hindu Nation.

Giving the example of China and Japan Mufti Muhammad Ilyas said that,"As China is for Chinese and Japanese is for Japanese we are all Indians and children of the same God is Lord Shiva "

On 27th February the Clerics of Jamiat Ulema have called for meeting at Balampur for the Unity between citizen/community (National Komi Ekta) conference, thereby inviting Hindu saints from the across the country.

Jamiat Ulema also registered their opposition to terrorism by burning effigy during the rally in the same town.Clerics of Jamiat Ulema also suggested that everyone should follow the path given in the Hindu holy books.

This, I've never read about in the last 10 years. Still, this is an example of Islamic hijacking, where a person of religion looks at a foreign religion, picks out things that looks good to him, and then does a U-turn back to his faith by fitting the appropriated piece into his Abrahamic framework of Islam. Christians have been doing it for thousands of years.

There's nothing new in it since it's all about taqqiya, but he made a big mistake by saying Shiva is a prophet while he is Mahadev aka the Supreme Soul.
