Hindu was the first major religion known to history, with scriptures showing fully developed spiritual concepts and practices from at least as early as 3rd millenium BCE, or even as early as 10k BCE according to some scholars. Islam was introduced in 7th century CE after there was already much religious variety in the world. And then Islam built on the essential characteristics of the Judaeo-Christian tradition with some variations. All the Muslims in the world today are descendents of converts, and most of them were coerced.
