Who are the greatest friends of all time in indian history & what are their friendship stories ?

    When i look at India , I see examples of many famous friendship stories in Indian history few of them which i can recollect are :
    Friendship of Duryodhan and Karna
    Sri Krishna and Sudama Friendship
    Rama Sugriva Friendship

    Can anyone tell other greatest friendships of all time ?
    who do you think is the greatest friendship among all and why ?

    Namaskar Brother!
    There are many stories of friendship in India not only in Scriptures but also in history of medivial and ancient times. Like Tanaji and Shivaji, Ramprasad Bismil and Asfaqulla Khan etc. It is impossible to find out which is the best. But we can gain many things from them. Human life is for to get learned ourselves and others. Imagine if we find out what is the greatest friendship story among all, what will happen?

    Will it affect morals that can be gained from other stories?
    Do it can be beneficial for our lives ?
    Will it eliminate all the doubts of our mind ?
    All have the same answer NO.

    Besides this.

    What should we search for

    how can we attain ultimate happiness?
    How can we make other happy ?
    What are the perspectives of love?
    How can all the sadness from our mind can be eliminated?

    I dono much about others have never even read..may be one of two historical stories I might have seen in movies and TV's but I have always loved the friendship of Friendship of Duryodhan and Karna as they had intense friendship and love for each other.
    Karna knew that he was standing for wrong reason but still he stood by his friend, later on he knew he had to fight his brother but he did to back he friend.simultaniously when karna died the charm of winning war and luxury was over for duryodhana as he said that now even if he would win war he would still give it to his brothers and go to jungle for meditation as he lost his friend in the war.
