I would like to know the name of 2-3 saints who according to you are the greatest saint of all time. For modern era I would say Ramana maharishi and Swami adi shankracharya. Ancient Time i have to say shukracharya and Rishi Valmiki Tnx
Very difficult question to be answered as every saint conveys same message but the path may be bit different, but i would say i liked the way Ramana Maharishi lived and swami dayanand saraswati for taking on anti hindus intellectually and bringing in Hindu education system to main stream.
All the saints in hinduism has there contribution and value in a different way. All saints conveys a messages to people in their own form to spread humanity in world. so we can't compare them, they all contributed to taught people the chapter of truth and humanity.
